About
I’m Francesco Marino, a graphic designer, web designer and illustrator, with over twenty-three years of experience in visual communication.
I have always transformed ideas into clear, coherent and lasting design systems — working across print graphics, branding, visual identity, illustration and web design. My work bridges the rigour of editorial design with the flexibility of digital, spanning brochures and catalogues through to web interfaces and illustration-led concepts.
I believe in design as a discipline of intention: every element must serve a purpose, every choice must support the whole. Consistency, clarity and attention to detail are not just principles — they are the foundation of every project.
My approach is rooted in design thinking: understanding context, defining problems with precision and building visual design solutions that communicate with elegance, effectiveness and authority.

Approach
01
Every graphic design, illustration and web design project begins with understanding. I analyse the context, listen to the brief and define the problem with precision before any visual development begins.
02
The difference between a good project and a professional result lies in the details: spacing, typography, visual balance. Every element contributes to the final quality of the design.
03
A visual identity and branding system works when every element communicates in a unified way. I design consistent visual frameworks, applicable across print, web and all digital touchpoints.
04
From the initial concept to the final result, every project maintains a clear and unified direction. This creates visual experiences that are recognisable, effective and lasting.
Tools
My toolkit has evolved over more than twenty years of experience in graphic design, illustration and web design, always guided by the same principle: using professional tools to build effective visual solutions. I work with industry-standard software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign for graphics and print, alongside tools for UI design, prototyping and web interface design.
Tools matter, but they are never the point. The real value is the process — the ability to transform an idea into a visual system that communicates, functions and endures.
